Still have questions?
Do I need this endorsement to instruct spins?
Yes. If you intend to provide spin training (e.g. for flight instructor training or upset recovery), this endorsement is required.
Is spin training dangerous?
Not when conducted properly. The course is delivered in suitable aircraft by experienced instructors under controlled and safe conditions.
What aircraft are used for spin training?
Spin training is typically conducted in approved, fully spin-certified aircraft in our fleet. We conduct our spin training in our Cessna 152 (C152).
Can I do spin training as a private pilot?
Yes. While commonly undertaken by instructors, any licensed pilot may complete the spin endorsement to build confidence and skill.
