Prospective students can check their eligibility HERE. VET Student Loans will not be approved for students who do not meet eligibility requirements. Students who wish to apply for a VET Student Loan will be required to meet stringent Language, Literacy & Numeracy requirements. Students wishing to apply must provide evidence of the following:
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Humanitarian Visa, eligible New Zealand Special Category Visa holder, or Pacific engagement visa holders
- Tax File Number (to be submitted in the eCAF by the student)
and at least one of:
- Australian Senior Secondary Certificate i.e. Year 12 or VCE equivalent;
- An Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Certificate IV or higher qualification where the language of instruction is English;
- Australian Core Skills Framework Exit level 3 LLN test (RVAC is able to provide this test for a fee where necessary)

Royal Victorian Aero Club must retain for a period of at least 5 years, any evidence collected for the purposes of applications by students for a VET Student Loan.
