In Australia, a Registered Training Organisations are authorised to provide vocational courses for post-secondary school studies which emphasize job-related skills and specific career pathways.
Commercial Pilot Licence and MECIR (Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating)
The Commercial Pilot Licence and combined MECIR equips graduates with the skills to operate aircraft, even in low visibility conditions in the air, and has favourable advantages for pilots wishing to pilot large commercial airlines as a career. To achieve this rating, students will be required to demonstrate adequate problem solving and hand-eye coordination skills, with the ability to operate a plane safely in most weather conditions.

Night VFR Rating
The Night Visual Flight Rating allows a pilot holding a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and above, to fly at night in visible conditions. Upon completion of this qualification, trainees will have a sound understanding of and demonstrated ability to conduct basic instrument flying for flights conducted at night with the use of ground based navigation aids.
