Club Buys First RA Aircarft

After twelve months operation of the Recreational Aviation flying school at Coldstream, the Club has now decided to purchase their first RA aircraft.

After evaluating several types, the Tecnam P92 Echo Super has been chosen and an order has now been placed with the local distributor for a November delivery.  This will be the second P92 on the line at Coldstream.

Fitted with the well proven 100 HP Rotax 912ULS liquid cooled engine, the Echo Super has an extremely impressive 1260 FPM rate of climb and a cruising speed of 105 KTAS at 75% power.

As operators of the aerodrome at Coldstream, the Club is well placed in the rapidly expanding RA world.
