APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2010 FLYING SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE NOW CLOSED



2011 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN MAY 2011


The Royal Victorian Aero Club in conjunction with the RAAF Association, Victorian Division Foundation will be offering flying training scholarships for 2011.

The scholarships will take the successful candidates through to the GFPT stage of the Private Pilots Licence and are an ideal entry point for those seeking a long term career or recreational participation in aviation.

The scholarships are predominantly sponsored by Mobil Aviation, The RAAF Association, Victorian Division Foundation and the 460 Bomber Squadron Scholarship Trust. They are valued at approximately $6,500 each.

The scholarships recognise the contribution that young Australian aircrew have made in the defence and development of Australia and the spirit, determination and values shown by these young men and women in the past. This is the 12th year of the Club’s scholarship program and to date 23 young men and women have been able to realise their long held dream to fly.

Applicants need to be Australian citizens, aged between 17 and 25 years and satisfy all the other terms and conditions outlined in the application form which is available personally at The Royal Victorian Aero Club at Moorabbin Airport and Coldstream Airfield.
